The area is famous for its mud baths and sulphur pools believed to help with certain skin diseases. Also renowned for the breeding grounds of the loggerhead sea turtles at Iztuzu beach. Although much of Dalyan's income comes from the tourism sector, it also thrives on its locally grown pomegranates. Driving through you will see fields full of pomegranate trees, all waiting to be sold on the local weekly markets. Try a glass of freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, it really is delicious.
