Kalkan is around 90 minutes from Dalaman airport although it is classed as being part of the Antalya province.
There is a weekly Saturday market selling locally grown fruit and vegetables as well as locally made cheeses, fresh honey, locally picked olives. There are also clothes stalls and handbag stalls for picking up the odd bargain.
