Ovacik's nearest neighbour is the ever-popular Hisaronu, with its abundance of entertaining bars, good restaurants, shops and lively nightclubs open until the early hours. Most overseas buyers prefer Ovacik for its peaceful laid back atmosphere, away from the noisy bars in Hisaronu.
Ovacik and Hisaronu are both set in a valley above sea level, therefore there isn't a beach. Most people tend to head for Oludeniz beach and its famous Blue Lagoon. Where they sit and watch the paragliders gently gliding down the beach, later heading to one of the promenade bars to enjoy the most amazing sunsets over the Mediterranean sea.
