Affordable new-traditional villa in Ovacik for sale. A semi-detached 2-bed in a complex with a shared pool and great mountain views close to amenities.
Turkey Homes are delighted to offer this affordable new traditional villa in Fethiye for sale, located in the picturesque hillside village of Ovacik right next door to the lively resort of Hisaronu and close to the famous beach resort of Oludeniz in the south-west of Turkey.
Ovacik was once a small farming village, with a few traditional stone farmhouses, green fields, olive groves, grazing livestock and dirt track roads. Today the picture paints a different story, completely transformed to the peaceful residential holiday village, filled with luxury villas, apartment complexes and several small hotels, along with a fantastic selection of international restaurants serving some delicious freshly cooked dishes, and ample chilled out bars, local shops, and several supermarkets.
Right next door to Ovacik, in total contrast, you have the ever-popular resort of Hisaronu, with a further selection of excellent busy restaurants and bars and some buzzing nightclubs open until dawn, Hisaronu was originally developed as an overflow for accommodation as the resort of Oludeniz became more and more popular, and likewise, Ovacik then developed as Hisaronu's demand also increased over the years.
The area not only offers some wonderful beaches with crystal clear turquoise waters, but it also has an excellent range of activities too, hosting the largest water park in the Fethiye area, a paintball centre, go-carting tracks, funfair and much more with a great range of daily excursions on offer.
Location and Complex Details
This semi-detached mountain view villa for sale in Ovacik is located a short 200m downhill stroll to the villages top road, one of the main roads through the village en route from Fethiye to Oludeniz, the top road offering several small convenience stores, a number of extremely popular restaurants along with a summer bus service to Oludeniz beach & Blue Lagoon and the centre of the bust harbour and marina town of Fethiye.
A further 300m down the hillsides reached the busier lower main road for supermarkets, various shops, bakery, cafes restaurants and bars etc, whilst also offering a more frequent year-round bus service for access to several other local village and beaches, whilst just over 2km away is the neighbouring vibrant nightlife of Hisaronu, again accessible via the dolmus or a healthy downhill walk.
The villa is part of a long-established small private complex of semi-detached villas, walled and gated with on-site parking, mature communal gardens and huge shared terraces for sunbathing around a large communal swimming pool, the terraces also hosting a separate shallow children pool, all of which enjoys views of the towering pine-filled mountains that surround the valley of Ovacik.
We present a semi-detached 2 bedroom duplex villa, entered from the side through a steel security door which opens into a closed reception hallway laid with neutral floor tiles, offering a well-lit marble staircase to the upper floor, also leading down to find a partially glazed door that open to find an open-plan living area, a narrow and rather long room with a fully fitted modern kitchen to the rear that offers an ample supply of off-white units, mottled granite work surfaces, mosaic contrasting tiled splash backs, whilst a high window looks through the stairway, also hosting a breakfast bar that separates the kitchen slightly from the lounge and dining area.
The lounge takes the central spot, offering one feature art stone wall with a wall-mounted TV, whilst the dining area at the far end offers patio doors that open to a private side garden terrace for alfresco dining and access to the swimming pool area.
Ascend the stairs to the first-floor landing area, very well lit via large opaque glazed windows, here you have access to the 3 bedrooms, one very spacious double room with the privacy of a fully tiled en-suite shower room and a slightly smaller yet sizeable double used as a twin, again offered a fully tiled en-suite, whilst both bedrooms offer windows for natural light and mountains views along with half-glazed doors that open each room out to a large shaded and shared balcony with stunning views of the mountains.

Most of us know that Fethiye has a wonderful climate in the summer. Winters are not so bad either with average daily temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees C. Though the night times can be much colder, as when the sun drops down so do the temperatures and can sometimes go below freezing. January and February are probably the coldest months.
Yes, Fethiye gets rain too, lots of it sometimes, with many torrential downpours, these can happen anytime, from October through to the end of March or beginning of April. A picturesque scene with snow on the top of Babadag.
