Detached new traditional villa in Ovacik for sale with a guest apartment, private pool & parking and stunning valley views. Ideal Fethiye investment.
Turkey Homes are proud to present this spacious new traditional villa in Fethiye for sale located on the outskirts of the harbour town in the stunning and very peaceful village of Ovacik close to the famous Oludeniz Beach.
Ovacik was once a small traditional farming village scattered with farmhouses, olive groves, and orchards, with little dirt tracks for roads and the only route to the stunning Oludeniz Beach from Fethiye. Today the village has been transformed into a peaceful holiday resort which is awash with small hotels, modern apartments complexes, luxurious villas and a host of shops, supermarkets, friendly bars and international restaurants serving anything from traditional Turkish cuisine to many varied international menus.
Located right next door to the lively resort of Hisaronu, a resort with a very vibrant nightlife, and its nearest beach is the famous Oludeniz, one of the most photographed beaches in the world today, though if you are a family with young children you may prefer to spend your beach days on one of the private beaches that surround the stunning Blue Lagoon with crystal clear calm waters, ideal for the children and snorkelling if you are lucky you may spot a loggerhead sea turtle as they often make their way into the lagoon from the open sea.
Property Location and Details
This detached 4 bedroom villa for sale in Ovacik is set on an incline in upper Ovacik, backed by Mendos Mountain in a quiet and rather green area of the village, the elevated location providing stunning views of the surrounding mountains and across most of the lower valley.
The upper main road that runs through the village can be reached via 500m downhill stroll for small convenience stores, a handful of restaurants and bus stops that offer a summer bus service to reach Oludeniz Beach and the centre of Fethiye, whilst a further 250m down the hill finds the busier lower road that provides supermarkets, various shops, bars and restaurants along with more frequent year-round bus services that offer access to the Oludeniz, Fethiye and Kayakoy, Gemiler Beach, Faralya and Kabak.
A steady 2km stroll through the winding lanes will reach the nightlife and amenities of Hisaronu, also accessed via the buses on both roads in just 3-4 minutes, the buses running from early dawn to the very early hours, whilst staying out on the town will require a taxi back home.
The villa boasts a large private plot on the corner of a quiet lane, a huge plot of 700m2 that is walled and gated, the gates to the rear opening to a block paved and shaded driveway, and a corner gate for walk-in access opening to a pathway, whilst the mature private gardens are tiered on three levels, offering various trees, lush green lawns, various shrubs, climbers and flowering plants.
The top tier of the gardens hosts a wooden storage shed and steps to one side of the villa that lead down to the lower gardens that host large sunny terraces, a great built-in stone BBQ and a good-sized private swimming pool with walk-in steps. Further steps leading down to a smaller low garden that would be ideal for growing your own organic produce.
A four-storey villa of two halves, the lower basement floor hosting a self-contained 1 bedroom guest apartment that has its own private entrance to the side of the villa, hosting an open-plan living area, a double bedroom and a separate shower room, a great addition to the villa for the family to visit, perhaps a private home for an elderly relative or older children, or maybe as a rental property to earn an income that could pay for the villas maintenance fees.
The main 3 bedroom villa is set on the three floors above and is entered from the rear via a shaded entrance terrace that hosts a steel security door, opening into a spacious open lobby area laid with ceramic floor tiles, offering a door that opens to a guest WC, a closed storage area that sits below marble stairs that ascend to the upper floors.
Off to the side of the lobby, you find the kitchen and dining area, the kitchen set to the rear overlooking the upper gardens and Mendos Mountain, a fully fitted modern kitchen decked out with an ample range of light beech and glazed units, black granite work surfaces, mosaic tiled splash backs and a free-standing black granite-topped breakfast bar.
The dining area, set to the front of the kitchen, opens out to a large covered and L-shaped veranda terrace, as does the spacious lounge that is set on a slightly lower level, laid with hardwood flooring and hosting a cosy stone fireplace with an inset glass log burner.
The veranda terrace offers ample space for shaded lounging and alfresco dining with a view over the pool that sits below, accessed via central steps from the terrace, the BBQ found just below to the side.
Take the stairs to the first-floor landing area to access the first 2 bedrooms, both very spacious double rooms that boast private shaded balconies, one to the rear with mountain views and one at the front that offers a view over the pool and across the valley of Ovacik, both sharing a fully tiled modern family bathroom on the same level.
The top floor is part of the roof space and is home to the master bedroom that offers a sloping ceiling, a huge room with picture windows to the front and rear to enjoy the views, whilst boasting a newly revamped modern en-suite shower room.

Fethiye is a busy town, still quite traditional in many ways, with many locals still farming land on the outskirts of the town, producing an array of fresh fruit and vegetables, with many sold on the local markets around the area.
Tuesday hosts the biggest and busiest market in the heart of Fethiye's centre, selling all sorts from the freshly grown fruit and veg, spices, leather belts and many fake designer goods. Try out your bartering skills and get the prices down, it's an experience and the stall holders do love the banter.
