Fethiye is a busy town, still quite traditional in many ways, with many locals still farming land on the outskirts of the town, producing an array of fresh fruit and vegetables, with many sold on the local markets around the area. 

Tuesday hosts the biggest and busiest market in the heart of Fethiye's centre, selling all sorts from the freshly grown fruit and veg, spices, leather belts and many fake designer goods. Try out your bartering skills and get the prices down, it's an experience and the stall holders do love the banter.
