Kemer is a small traditional farming village located on the outskirts of Fethiye's busy harbour town, not to be confused with the Kemer in Antalya.

The village is quite rural and very dependent on its farming for its income, with a patchwork of green fields and a river flowing through the town, all shielded by the local Taurus mountain range.
