The town sits slightly inland from the coast. However, the sea and the stunning sandy beaches are easily reached by the local dolmus or a leisurely stroll. Didim town and its neighbourhoods are preferred by those who live on the peninsula, most likely after holidaying in Altinkum, yet like a little more peace. However, for the same reasons, it also attracts a large number of holidaymakers too as the nightlife and beaches of Altinkum are easily reached on foot or via a short drive or Dolmus journey.

Amenities are somewhat limited whilst increasing as the area develops, currently hosting various convenience stores, supermarkets, several restaurants, and a college that are all within walking distance, whilst the 5-6 minutes drive to the centre of Didim finds an abundance of shops, larger supermarkets, hospitals, medical centres, chemists, schools, a post office, currency exchange offices, tour agencies, cafes and restaurants etc., whilst the buzzing bars, nightclubs and sandy beaches of Altinkum are just 10-12 minutes away.

The villa is part of a small private complex that hosts four semi-detached villas in two blocks, walled and gated in a quiet and still rather green area of Efeler, with a good-sized shared swimming pool, fenced children's pool, and sun terrace set between the two blocks, the pool's water supply obtained free of charge by communal water well.
