Detached new traditional villa in Fethiye for sale. Set on a huge private plot in Ovacik with a private pool and mountain views. Fethiye property for sale.
Turkey Homes are delighted to offer this new traditional villa in Fethiye for sale, found in the peaceful village of Ovacik, which is nestled in the mountains above the harbour town and the turquoise water that washed over the famous Oludeniz Beach.
Ovacik is next door to the ever-popular resort of Hisaronu, towered over by the mountains of Babadag and Mendos, both beautifully clad with pine trees that bring a welcome summer breeze and the sweet scent of pine.
The resort has a much more relaxing atmosphere than its neighbour, no nightclubs, just friendly cosy bars and some excellent restaurants catering for all, from tasty Turkish cuisine to spicy Indian curries or a simple Margherita pizza, all freshly cooked by some fantastic local chefs. If you prefer to spend the evening relaxing at home, there is a good selection of supermarkets for all your grocery needs; a quick call to the local takeaways or several restaurants and dinner will be delivered to your door free of charge.
The resort is pretty quiet in the daytime as most choose to relax by the pool, head off to the local beaches of Oludeniz or Gemiler, take a fun-filled day at the local water park or head off on one of the many daily excursions available from the local tour agencies around the village.

Most of us know that Fethiye has a beautiful climate in the summer. Winters are not so bad either, with average daily temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees C. However, the night times can be much colder, as when the sun drops, so do the temperatures, which can sometimes go below freezing. January and February are probably the coldest months.
Yes, Fethiye gets rain too, lots of it sometimes, with many torrential downpours; these can happen anytime, from October through to the end of March or April. A picturesque scene with snow on the top of Babadag.
