Kayakoy, anciently known as Lebessos and Lebessus and later Livissi is a historical old village that sits approximately 8km south of the busy harbour town of Fethiye in the south-west of Turkey.
Believed to have been built somewhere in the 18th-century, and inhabited by the greeks until 1922. Much of the village homes were built in the hills, from natural stone, with two Greek orthodox churches and a school. Today these buildings still stand with around 500 homes and is a highly visited museum site.
