Many years ago Hisaronu was simple farmland with a few farmhouses dotted about. When tourism grew in Oludeniz, Hisaronu was the nearest place to build hotels to cope with the number of tourists that Oludeniz attracted. Today even though Hisaronu has no beach, it has become a resort in its own right.
