NEWS New film from director Guy Ritchie: Filming will start in Antalya, Turkey

The filming of "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare", directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Henry Cavill and Eiza Gonzalez, will be shot in Antalya.

Director Guy Ritchie will shoot his new film, "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare", in Antalya. Director Ritchie's second film in Antalya after "Operation Fortune" will also be hosted mainly by the botanical park of Turkey's first EXPO, which was opened to the public in 2016.

Based on the information provided by the media, the plateau installation has started for the film, the shooting permits for which were received last month. In addition to the EXPO area, filming will also be conducted in Demre, Muratpaşa, Ibradi, Konyaalti, Kemer, Akseki, Serik, Finike, Alanya, Döşemealtı and Manavgat districts. It is reported that filming work will continue until April.


Written by Paul Tamasy and Damien Lewis, the historical film about war and drama will star English actor Henry Cavill and Mexican actress and singer Eiza Gonzalez.

The plot of the film is as follows:

The German army defeats the British army. Upon this situation, Winston Churchill wants to make a counter-move by setting aside the gentlemanly rules of war. His goal is to infiltrate a collection of soldiers behind enemy lines secretly. The soldiers accept this life-threatening plan knowing they will likely be killed. Establishing a solid union means important victories are achieved against the Nazis.


Director Guy Ritchie had shot almost all of the scenes of the movie "Operation Fortune" starring Jason Statham, Hugh Grant, Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, Cary Elwes and Bugzy Malone in Antalya two years ago.
