Turkey which has been one of the rising stars in global tourism for several years now has launched a new new tourism promotion campaign with worldwide famous and Oscar-winner Australian actress Nicole Kidman.
Turkish authorities have made an agreement to work with he international media agency Global Connection (GC) to run the campaign. The agency has launched a joint publication with influential newspapers such as Die-Welt and Welt Compact in Germany and Pravda in Russia to encourage travelers to visit Turkey.
German readers can find the image of the A-list star in campaigns published in Die-Welt and Welt Compact daily newspapers. Readers of these papers in both countries will be able to see the pictures of world-star Kidman in said papers.
In reply to a question in an interview with Turkish press as to “where she would want to have vacation in Turkey”, Kidman said “You are waiting for me to say Istanbul, but you are wrong. We share a common history, so I want to see Gallipoli, most."
Turkish authorities on the other hand had announced Morgan FREEMAN as the new spokesman for Turkish Airlines, earlier in January.
