Family Dalyan villa for sale with a large private plot and swimming pool. Peacefully located in Gulpinar surrounded by nature. Excellent investment.
Turkey Homes are delighted to offer this beautiful private villa in Dalyan for sale, a small picturesque river town surrounded by nature just off the southwestern coastline of Turkey.
The quaint charming town of Dalyan lies on the banks of the River Cayi, just off the Turquoise coastline, nestled in the countryside between the popular harbour town of Fethiye and the lively resort of Marmaris, surrounded by lots of open green landscapes and towering pine-clad mountains.
A few years ago developers wanted to build a large resort hotel on the nearby beach of Iztuzu, however the local conservationist, later joined by David Bellamy campaigned against this along with the local people as the beach is a natural breeding ground for the endangered Loggerhead Sea Turtles, and thankfully they won stopping any future developments near the beach and also protecting the breeding ground. which now means that the town of Dalyan will never be unspoilt, to remain full of charm and tradition without mass tourism.
Property in Dalyan can be found very close to the town centre in sought after residential areas, and often on the edge of the town near the mountains that surround the town with vast open land space for a chilled out relaxed countryside lifestyle.
This very well presented traditional villa in Dalyan is located in the popular residential area of Gulpinar, a 10-minute stroll to the centre of town for all the shops, supermarkets, relaxing bars and restaurants, yet hidden away in a tranquil secluded spot surrounded by countryside for relaxing back-to-nature style of living.
The villa is encompassed within its own huge private plot of 1,200m2, with a low boundary wall flanked by an array of mature trees and green shrubbery which offers the owners or guests paramount privacy within the gardens.
The villa sits to the rear of the plot, entered from the quiet country lane at the front via wrought iron gates that open to a long driveway and pathway which leads along the side of the gardens to a parking area at the side of the villa.
The front garden area hosts a large almost mushroom shaped private swimming pool with a shallow integrated shallow end for the children, surrounded by a large sunbathing terrace with oodles of space for lungers for the family and guests.
To the side of the pool, hidden away behind a bush, you have an outdoor shower area, and also a large exterior dining area, a fixed pergola style construction with a tiled roof, offering an outdoor kitchen area and a bar for summers of alfresco dining and entertaining guest poolside with a stone-built barbecue just outside of the pergola area.
Tucked away peacefully in the rear gardens, you find a lovely relaxing Kosk, a shaded Turkish style seating area with large comfy cushions, a great escape from the pool area for a shaded retreat with your latest book or a peaceful afternoon nap. Here you also have a hidden storage depot which is also used as a utility room with a washing machine, ideal for storage of bikes, garden equipment and pool chemicals etc, all set in more mature private garden areas.
The traditional villa has been kept in excellent condition inside and out, built over three floors with the top floor making the most of the spacious attic area.
Entering the villa poolside, you find a great seating area with sofas and windows on either side, with an open doorway which takes you through to an extremely spacious open-plan living area, offering ample lounge and dining seating for 12 people with a huge corner sofa and 12-seater wrought iron glass topped dining suite.
The kitchen sits behind the dining area, decked out with a range of cream wood panelled units topped with flecked brown granite work surfaces and matching splash backs, with the whole of the living area being filled with lots of natural light from several large picture windows and a set of patio doors on either side taking you out the the front terrace and the pool area.
A further open doorway next to the kitchen area takes you up one step to a hallway which offers a handy guest WC, marble stairs to the upper floors with a large storage area beneath, and access to 2 ground floor bedrooms, both large double rooms with built in wardrobes offering ample storage, both with the privacy of en-suite shower rooms and each having their own private white balustrade balcony with lovely garden and mountain views.
Taking the stairs to the first floor, you find a landing area offering entry into a further 3 bedrooms, the first being a huge master suite with a king-size bed, seating area and TV. This room offers the luxury of a fully refurbished modern bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub, his and hers sinks and walk-in wet room style shower, along with access to a large covered white balustrade balcony overlooking the gardens, pool and the local countryside.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 are good sized double bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, again both having the privacy of fully tiled bathrooms and both having access to private side balconies with side views of the pool and the local green landscapes.
Ascending to the attic floor, with its pine-clad sloping ceilings, you find an enormous fourth bedroom, offering a large four-poster bed with two sofa bed set in the eaves, and a seating area, an ideal family room, that again offers a private en-suite facility.
The property is offered to the real estate market fully furnished to an excellent standard and is in excellent repair, to include all white good and air conditioning units throughout.

The beautiful picturesque town of Dalyan is steeped in history, dating back 1000's of years with its famous Lycian Rock Tombs located down the Dalyan river, the ruins of the ancient trading city of Kaunos. Take a stroll down the river in the evening at sunset and see the tombs lit up perfectly by the dipping sun.
Translated, Dalyan means 'Fishing Weir' which reflects the some of the tasty fish dishes available in some of the local restaurants with Sea Bass, Mullet and Sea Bream all caught from the river as they head to the sea at the Iztuzu beach area.
