The Didim peninsula is found on the west coast of Turkey situated between the city of Izmir and the popular Bodrum peninsula, famous for the lively beach resort of Altinkum, though the area offers many more resorts that offer a more relaxing holiday, though still with plenty going on and some wonderful sandy beaches.

Yesilkent sits to the east of Altinkum easily reached by a 5-minute drive and just 10-minutes to the traditional centre of Didim, though the resort of Yesilkent offers a great range of bars, shops and restaurants etc with very little need to head off to the other areas unless you are a bit of an explorer.
