Kagithane Versus Bomonti - Istanbul Real Estate Market
When analysing the Istanbul property market, two areas emerge as firm winners of popular destinations with house buyers. Despite already being Turkey's biggest city, Istanbul continues to expand, evoking local councils to pump millions into local infrastructure and the real estate market. Two areas that benefit from the increasing numbers of Turks and foreigners buying property are Kagithane and Bomonti.
Both sit in a prime position in European Istanbul, making them hotspots for housing, business, and transport. Home buyers attracted by new, modern lifestyle residences also find themselves in an ideal position. Despite the two areas' high profiles, property prices offer good value for money in a city that is Turkey's beating heart. Tolga Ertukel, director of Turkey Homes says Kagithane, probably the number 1 most popular city centre neighbourhood for value for money also offers excellent and easy transport links to all central suburbs.
Currently, prices in Kagithane as of early 2021 show apartments sell at roughly $1,500 per square meter. When we compare luxury, prime location developments in nearby Maslak, they sell from $4,000 per square meter. Bomonti is also the next rising star. Although prices here sell from roughly $2,500 per square meter, but will easily match Maslak prices within a year or two.
As for Turkey Homes, we work with many Istanbul developers on both the European and Asian sides. Since we have no biases towards any developer, we present our clients everything that Istanbul has to offer and always match competition with the lowest price.
Real Estate Markets in Kagithane and Bomonti - Istanbul
Properties for sale in Kagithane
Kagithane's former reputation is as an industry hub. The name Kagit Hane translates as a paper house, a reference to large paper factories that previously operated here. Before that, it was a hunting ground for Ottoman royalty. These days, most locals know it as an area undertaking a massive redevelopment of its housing market. Surrounded by the Sariyer, Eyup, Sisli, Besiktas and Beyoglu districts, efforts are paying off, as increasingly more house buyers flock to find out exactly why the real estate market is garnering much attention.
It has many attributes, including the new Istanbul airport, just 30 minutes' drive away, and frequent and quick transport connections to other neighbourhoods. The urban regeneration also extends past housing, into shopping malls, offices, and ample amounts of green spaces to prevent the concrete jungle stereotype. House buyers have many neighbourhoods to choose from.
